This online platform provides a selection of free online games that were created and developed using pedagogical methods appropriate for language teaching programs. Both teachers and students can make use of them while taking language classes.

StaEllinika is an initiative of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and the SNF Centre For Hellenic Studies at Simon Fraser University (SFU) with support by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). It offers learner profiles and performance visualization for learners, teachers and parents while also delivering engaging lesson materials, videos, quizzes and rich interactive experiences.

LEXLI is an educational online game based on Wordle. It’s a “discover the hidden word” type of activity, suitable for classroom or homework.
The game is fun but it also facilitates the development of vocabulary & spelling skills.

Bookcrossing: What is it? Learn about it!

BookCrossing, as the website itself states, is the act of releasing your books “into the wild” for a stranger to find, or via “controlled release” to another BookCrossing member, and tracking where they go via journal entries from around the world. Bookcrossing consists of a community of passionate, generous book-lovers that change the world touching lives, one traveling book at a time!

Books shouldn’t dust in the bookshelves, they should travel, shared and give joy to people that maybe cannot buy them. Leave a book somewhere for someone else to find and read!! Visit the website to learn more!
