You and a group of your fourth grade friends are wandering through the park near the school,
when one of your friends stumbled onto something odd. It's a phone booth, but you all agree that it wasn't there the last time you were in the park.
What you are all about to discover is that this phone booth is really a time machine. As all of you squeeze inside to get a better look, one of your
friends accidentally pushes a button inside the booth. The numbers on the dial begin to change and a weird sensation takes over all of you.
The doors of the phone booth open and you and your group find that you have been transported back to the exploration age.
Your group's job is to gather important information throughout your travels to the New World so that you can find your way back home.
Afterwards your group will use this information to create a writing activity that features articles on important events that occurred in the Exploration age during your adventure. |
